Terms & Conditions

The Jurassic Coast Golf Tournament will be played along the Dorset coast on three different golf courses, namely Came Down GC, Lyme Regis GC and Bridport & West Dorset GC on three consecutive days from the 11th - 13th June 2018.

Entry

Players can enter as a pair or fourball.

Entry can be either be online or by post. Please make cheques payable to Jurassic Coast Golf Tournament and send it along with the entry form to:

To arrive in good time before the closing date of Friday 11th May 2018. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of entry.

Entry Fee

The entry fee covers three rounds of golf and refreshments before and after your round. There will be three daily prizes at each course and five overall prizes in the tournament.

Members of the host clubs will receive a £20 cashback on day one of the tournament.

Tournament Format

The tournament will be a pairs competition run on the Stableford scoring system using full handicap allowances. Day 1 at Came Down will be a Better-Ball competition, Day 2 at Bridport and West Dorset will be Greensomes, Day 3 at Lyme Regis will be Foursomes.

The men's card will be used for scoring purposes when any mixed team is playing Greensomes and Foursomes. The lady member of the team is afforded TWO adjustment shots in Greensomes and THREE shots in Foursomes BEFORE the team's allowance is calculated.

Men will play from the Yellow tees, Ladies from the Red tees. In the event of a dispute arising from an alleged golf rules infringement, the decision of the committee is final and binding.

Entrants

  • All entrants must be members of golf clubs recognised by and affiliated to their country's governing body.
  • All entrants must be amateur players and have an official club handicap. A current handicap certificate or CDH number will be required.
  • No handicap adjustments will be made during the tournament.
  • Any combination of male/male, female/female, male/female teams may enter.
  • All entrants must be 18 or over on entry.
  • The closing date for entries is Friday 11th May 2018 or when the tournament limit of 72 pairs has been reached whichever is the sooner.
  • Withdrawals will only be refunded if notified before the closing date
  • In the event that the limit of 72 pairs is reached before the closing date, any entries after that point will be placed on a standby list. Those on the list will be offered any vacant place in the tournament caused by a withdrawal on a first come - first served basis.
  • A team on the standby list which fails to gain a place in the tournament will have a full refund of all monies paid
  • No refunds will be available should any golf be cancelled due to the weather

All entrants are strongly advised to have their own golfers insurance.
